Playing a round of golf and wanting to eliminate all of the repetitive 'bending & stooping' on the putting green? Here's some information about Upright Golf's ball pick up tools and how they compare with one another.
Upright Golf's Flip-top Ball Pick Up Tool
This popular tool is compact, relatively durable, and lightweight. It fits really well on putter grips that are more oblong or egg-shaped vs round. Our Flip-top Ball Pick Up Tool is compact and very discrete. You'll barely notice it on the end of the putter grip and it will not impact your putting at all. The ball grip strength is good but over time the springs that make the fingers 'flip open' may wear out. We have heard back from a few of our customers that this tool can break or crack if its 'hit or banged' very hard on a hard-surfaced cart path.
Upright Golf's 'claw-style' ball pick up tools
Our 3 & 4-fingered 'claw-style' golf ball pick up tools are very durable, reasonably compact, and work great on any traditional putter grip! All of them are designed to simply screw in to the small air-release hole on the cap end of the putter grip. Our best-selling ball pick up tool continues to be the 4-finger 'Golf Claw' but our 3-finger 'Upright Claw' with its strong magnet and 1" diameter metal ball marker is a close 2nd. Our newest 'claw-style' golf ball retriever is the 3-finger 'Senior Claw' and our unique 3-finger 'Detachable Claw' is the perfect solution for the golfer that prefers not having any golf ball pick up tool on the end of their grip while putting!
All of the 'claw-style' pickup tools are durable and they should last for years! Because they simply screw into the air-release hole on the putter grip they're simple to install - not micro-sized screws to deal with! Once you’ve made your putt just pick the ball up with the ball retriever without ever having to bend or stoop! Use one of our 'Marker Mags' with our 'Upright Claw' pick up tools and you'll eliminate all of the repetitive bending and stooping on the putting green!
